When Billie Jean King defeated Bobby Riggs on September 20, 1973 in the infamous Battle of the Sexes, the world stood still. Billie was outed by the media in 1981. When the news broke, her lawyer and her press representative urged her not to admit the truth, but King refused to deny her identity as a lesbian.
She is a legend and a trailblazer in the LGBTQ community and we are honored to name our most colorful shirt after her.
These luxuriously soft Next Level® shirts are made of 4.3-oz, 60/40 ring-spun combed cotton/polyester sueded jersey material.
